Barbra is passionately and eternally devoted to the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. She is a conference speaker and Bible teacher with an unrelenting commitment to the expository teaching of the Word of God and the veracity of His Word. Her greatest aspiration and fulfillment is sharing the uncompromising truths of Scripture to women of all ages to not only know the Word intellectually; but experience them practically by the power of the Holy Spirit. She believes the heart of ministry is the Word of God and the heart of Christianity is transformation; lifes greatest journey.

Barbras early years of Christian development and spiritual formation set the stage for the many experiences that fashioned her life to be one that would esteem Christ and glorify God. Her passion for the Word of God and zeal for excellence in the service for God; led her to attend William Tyndale College and Birmingham Bible Institute. Barbra continued her studies and graduated from Michigan Theological Seminary May, 2004, with a Masters Degree in Christian Education.

Barbra is the host of her show the Barbra Gentry Pugh Show, providing a wide range of information to assist in bringing balance and wholeness of the body, mind and spirit as well as to introducing and supporting Christian business and professional women entrepreneurs. She is Founder and CEO of Heart Expressions Ministry, a ministry discipling women to lives expressing the heartbeat of God. She is currently working on her first book project "Every Beat of My Heart" sharing prescriptions for the physical, emotional, and spiritual blockage that hinders the Source of life which flows from the heartbeat of God.
